To upgrade your AVG 7.5 commercial edition to the corresponding AVG 8.0 commercial edition for free, please click here and follow these steps:
Enter your AVG 7.5 License Number into the web form and click on the button Upgrade to AVG 8.0
The web will display your new AVG 8.0 License Number and the appropriate AVG 8.0 installation package download link.
You can also enter your e-mail address to have the new AVG 8.0 License Number delivered by e-mail.
Run the AVG 8.0 installation and enter the new AVG 8.0 License Number into the application. To avoid mistakes, we recommend that you use the copy and paste method
The following AVG 7.5 to AVG 8.0 FREE UPGRADES are available for all customers of AVG 7.5 commercial editions:

Let us inform you that a new 8.0 version of AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition was released on 24th April 2008.
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0 includes only basic anti-virus, anti-spyware and Safe Search protection.
AVG Internet Security 8.0 protects your computer against all internet threats and includes new combined anti-virus and anti-spyware engine, anti-rootkit, firewall, anti-spam and System Tools (for advanced operating system monitoring and management). Moreover, it includes HTTP Scanner, AVG Active Surf Shield, AVG Search Shield and also Instant Messaging Protection.
With any commercial edition of AVG 8.0 you receive:

If you wish to upgrade your AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 7.5 to AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition 8.0 that provides only basic protection, please go to the AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition website. A License Number IS INCLUDED in the installation package.
AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition is available for single home use only, not for any professional/commercial use including not-for-profit organizations. There is NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT included with the AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition.
Please note that products AVG Anti-Spyware Free and AVG Anti-Rootkit Free are no longer available.
No, there is no standalone product available with anti-virus or anti-spyware functionality only.
AVG 7.5 Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware users will be offered a free upgrade to AVG 8.0 Anti-Virus, containing anti-virus and anti-spyware functionality protection within one improved scanning engine.
If you have bought an AVG 8.0 upgrade or renewal and AVG 7.5 is installed on your computer, you will need to install AVG 8.0. Please click on the relevant AVG 8.0 download link and follow the instructions to install AVG 8.0. AVG 7.5 will be uninstalled automatically from your computer during the AVG 8.0 installation.
